What is my credit card used for?
Your credit card details, stored in compliance with current data security regulations, will be subject to: Validity checks via pre-authorisation: 7 days before arrival, the hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise an amount equal to the first night’s stay. Used by hotels worldwide, pre-authorisation is a simple system for verifying the validity of the credit card provided at the time of booking. This operation does not result in any movement of funds in the guest’s current account, but is rather a “guarantee of coverage” for the hotel for an amount equal to the first night. Don’t be surprised if you receive a message from your bank when the hotel performs this operation. The pre-authorised amount is not an advance payment for the first night, it is a temporary block to “freeze” the sum, which will be automatically released by your bank, usually within 10/15 days of the operation.

When do I pay for my booking?
The total amount of the booking will be paid at the hotel, usually at check-out. Payment can be made with the same credit card provided at the time of booking, with another credit card, with a debit card or in cash for payments under 3000 euros. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express credit cards. Diners cards are not accepted.

What is the cancellation policy when booking from this website?
Direct bookings can be cancelled or modified without penalty up to 48 hours before check-in (2 pm) or check-out (11 am) in case of early departure. In case of cancellation of the stay, modification of the departure date less than 48 hours in advance or no-show, 80% of the booking will be charged.

Cancellation conditions on these sites may be more restrictive.

What happens in case of early departure?
In case of early departure, the total amount of the booking will be charged.

Is the tourist tax included in the rate?
No, the tourist tax is never included in the room rate. The tax is paid at the hotel in cash, not by credit card. It is a municipal tax and each hotel is a collection agent.

In the event of an “overbooking” situation, the hotel reserves the right to move the booking to a 5-star property nearby
